OOOH AGREE. I was just saying to Indie Quill that I feel the need for a new actor to delight in creeping up to satisfy me in the lulls between good Shashi films, and she said "Abhay Deol"! And I think Abhay + Ranbir will fill the void nicely. Very nicely :)

I was SO hoping this was gonna be hip hop. SIGH. Ehhh. it will do. :)

@NEss No, no, Abhay is totally breaking away from the Deol mold on so many fronts, dance included. I can totally live with that. Let the hip-hop live on in the Dharam-ji line.

@beth Oh, agreed, between Abhay and Ranbir I could be happy. Now, we just have to get the women in there to fill the talent void on that side.

Lucky girl.

I could watch Abhay Deol eat a sandwich and I'd probably swoon over it. He's a perfect example of someone who is boyishly charming. What a sweet face he has. :)

Oh and he can act. Really act. Swoon.

katherine

Oh, yes, the fact that he brings some actual acting skills to that charm makes him even *more* swoonworthy.

I read something where he said it took them two weeks of rehearsal and coaching to be able to dance that. Totally worth it for the payoff it produces.
