"Teri Rehmatein" is a new album of Sufi music from Sony Music, featuring 8 original tracks composed by Harpreet and written by Rajiv Pal Singh 'Rana', and performed by singers including Salim Merchant, Sanam Marwi, Tochi Raina, Javed Ali, Richa Sharma, Meenal Jain, I P Singh and Jaswinder Singh.
And this is the video for the title track, "Teri Rehmatein", performed by the terrific Salim Merchant, with cinematography by one of my favorite up and coming cinematographers (and friend) Santosh Vasandi:
Is that not the loveliest thing you've experienced today? That just made my Friday!

Bilcul bahut geet koobsurat! I'm sure my Hindi sentence structure is way off, but I think you can get what I'm trying to express. What a beautiful song. So sweet. So lovely. Thanks for sharing this, Katherine. Are the rest of the tracks on this CD as wonderful and as lovely as this one is?

@june
To be honest, I don't know (though I'm willing to bet yes): this is really just hot off the presses (Santosh gave me a head's up about the video on Friday) -- I think the actual music launch was done yesterday, so I've not seen the CD turn up anywhere, nor is it yet listed on iTunes (though I'm crossing my fingers for that).
